I have a question about the gauntlets. I have all the endings and am currently on my 4th playthrough. At the end it said that i had unlocked all gauntlets but when i go to the idol theres no option for me to play the gauntlets.

No, is a boss rush without fucking up base game like the only boss rush mod there is does, three new variants of old bosses with and additional phase and moves, three new professionally designed costumes and an online asynchronous message system that lets you record 30 seconds of your actions. None of these things have been done by a any modder.

I’ve beat all the souls games Sekiro as well. I platinums demons, dark souls and Sekiro. Sekiro is by far the hardest. I’m nowhere near as good as you are, but I was able to hear it on the hardest mode.

Its been on my radar for a while but i always just listened to people say how hard it was and kept putting it off. I think it would be cool if they threw in some new swords. Like getting 'Owls Sword' would be cool. And you can only use it if your attack power is at a certain level. Or maybe the sword Wolf currently has always does bleed or flame damage.

The game has been out for more than a year.

Gearbox made a DLC for Borderlands 2 seven years after release. Also we need to see Tomue and The Divine child in the West. That's a huge missed opportunity if not realized. This is such a beautiful story.

I'm still hoping for that Tomoe DLC we all were sure about one year ago..

Once this is released I might give the game another go just to see how it freshens it up. I didnt love Sekiro and it's been the only FromSoft game since DS that ive never went back to at least once. The game just didnt click with me, no fault of it's own, I think I went in wanting 'ninja souls' but that wasnt the game that we ended up getting per say. So I got through the game once right up until the final boss and hit a brick wall, never went back since. Enjoy watching others play the game but strangely never got the same enjoyment from playing it myself. Nice to see new content being added though.

I think I'd actually hate it if one of the challenges was to play through the entire game without dying once. That just goes beyond a challenge to help you kill time when you don't have really anything else to do for a while, and demanding someone to put in so much time to unlock something or technically complete this game 100%, to the point where they probably would have to learn how to speed run this game. I know deathless runs are completely possible, but there's a difference between a self-imposed challenge mainly for fun and most likely locking a reward behind something that will require so much time and probably external help (in depth guides and such). With this being stated, I would be 100% up for, and would much prefer a challenge where you beat the game with no resurrections. Your health reaches 0, you're back to a sculptor's idol, could even look at it as "Classic Souls Mode". At least I'm wasting my time fighting a boss over and over again, getting to Isshin's final stage and dying repeatedly there, rather than play the entire game up to Isshin, die to him, then restart from the beginning and likely do the same thing, so wasting maybe 4 hours at least each time just to die to the boss again and start over and over. If there was something to make this at least somewhat more manageable, like check points you'll return to instead of the beginning, that'd be great even if there's only two or three of them. For example, defeating Genichiro on top of Ashina Castle would be a check point, if they're feeling generous, defeating Owl would be a check point, and finally beating the Divine Dragon would be the last check point. Basically my point is that an overwhelmingly difficult and crushing task is fine for the player to put on themselves, if you find it fun then more power to you, but it shouldn't be required in even the most optional ways, like "if you don't want to do the no death plus 1 hit = death challenge, I guess you just also don't want the best costume, weapon or ability in this game". It's one of those "this is fine because it was my decision" situations, I don't want the game to encourage me to do that challenge at all, but if I like the game enough that I want to do that then I'll do it and it's a testament to how good the game is.

I wonder if the boss rush mode is going to be added to Demon Souls RE. I sadly wasn’t able to get a copy of Sekiro until now either due to money or limited stock, but I’ve been keeping up through videos (avoiding big spoilers of course). I personally like alternate costumes and replaying bosses like in Shadow of the Colossus, so I’m glad I get to experience the game on the cusp of its evolution. If they released a sequel, I’d be happy to get it if it’s as good (if not better) than the first.

So they're literally giving Sekiro the Hollow Knight Godhome dlc (revisiting bosses, no death boss rushes). The cherry on top would be an alternate version of an existing boss or a whole new boss like Tomoe as a memory, which can only fought at the end of the no death boss rush. I think a lore reasoning for this could just be like we get a bell charm from Isshin which allows us to refight bosses, because i believe Isshin in the lore has fought more than anyone in the entirety of Japan. This could supplement as the "dlc" that we never got.

Neither. The revenants are an asynchronous online option for people to leave recordings of themselves and for others to see and rate. There's no form of synchronous multi-player coming to Sekiro at all.

Boss rushes have been a thing since long before anyone made mods for it. Attributing that to the modders is a bit of a stretch. And character skins is a fucking gimme. Also attributing it to player mods is pretty dumb. Lastly, the main addition, the revenants is completely new. So yeah... Well done From Software adding 2 very commonly known unlockables in action adventure games and making up a new form of asynchronous multi player elements.
