@mexbrown Gotta start over or do it in new game plus. I'd recommend starting a new character that's a really important soul but if you plan on going NG+ you can make it through the game without em pretty easily.

It's not fixed just did it 30 minutes ago. You just gotta spam headbutt after he starts walking back using left stick forward + R1. I found if you just punch him he retaliates.

Hi guys, I just plat this game and tbh this is my first souls games. Well, I’ve played Bloodborne, Sekiro and Nioh but I’ve never dive into Demon Souls or any of the Dark Souls games. My first build for this game was a dex melee build and for the 2nd character, I wanna go with a Mage Build. Any tips on what are the armor sets, rings, weapons and spells/miracles I should have? I would love to experience an early OP Magic build for my second character😅✌🏻

It was alot easier to cheese Dorian when you could keep backstabbing him and he wouldn't attack until he finished his dialogue so you could simply just keep backstabbing him over and over again until he dies because he has to finish the dialog for the duel to start.....I haven't tried it in the remake but its possible its still there.

@Sinw88 he doesn't actually give u the key it beside him up on the ledge where you first see him- to get here you need to roll over the balcony located at the bottom of the steps which guarded at the top by the blue knight

get him to follow you out of that room ,he will then swing once ,dodge this one attack and he will try to retreat -dont let him as you can then shove him around without any issues

I have tried killing King Doran this way 5 times and he keeps killing me. Not sure why when I have destroyed all the breakables. Plus my punch sucks and he doesn't fall back as frequent like in the video.

I experienced the same thing but I figured it out after a few tries. I would draw him out of the room with the breakables, use the soul arrow when he retreats and drop his health a bit. He will not dodge when retreating and thus gives the perfect opportunity to use the soul arrow. After you drop a bit of his health, he'll follow you further and retreat. When he retreats, use the headbutt to get him where Vati explained and it's done. It works perfectly. You can avoid all of these extra steps and do it faster if you do it exactly as Vati explained. It's just I had a bit of trouble getting to him while retreating. If I do it in the room with the breakable stuff, it gets a bit tricky. In that room, his retreat is momentary and you need to be really good at headbutt to get him like it shows in the video. Catch him outside the room. Additionally, it's not the punch but a headbutt that is needed.
