I disagree with part of this theory. To me, theres absolutely no reason the old dragonslayer in ds2 would be a fake. Theres nothing stopping it from being a stop on ornsteins journey, and no reason he wouldnt go here- if anything, it makes a LOT of sense that ornstein would visit heides tower, as it is one of the most likely places gwynievere went when she fled anor londo. The dragonslayer armor isnt found in the archdragon peak, its found in lothric castle. Ornstein followed his lady.

I like to think Ornstine is the storm drake... think about it you can become a dragon with the dragon stones and the nameless king absorbs him like Ornstine and Smoh do to each other in DS1 and Ornstine armor is found laying there cast aside with no body because he turned into a drake

In my theory, Nameless king could also be the protagonist of ds1 (The Chosen undead). His attire looks similar to Gwyn's attire. It could be possible that after defeating gwyn, he wore his attire and revived stone dragon who is now stormdrake. Possibally wrong but a cool theory😀

Well I finished the game without any dlc within 50 hours (beat every boss) and spent about 10 hours still couldn't beat Nameless King. I can't git gud against him
