Posting here a year later for internet historians sake that we still haven’t heard a single piece of news yet

My boss design is Gideon, Saint of the Hollows. He looks like orphan of Kos and has a weak skeletal body that looks like a wither skeleton from Minecraft but with darker aesthetic with a darker tone and cries "OHHHH ELDEN RING, HOW I'VE WAITED SO LONG?" and the character stands there to defend himself. The reason why Gideon wants him dead is to reclaim the light that is elden ring. A ring that looks similar to a darksign. And he's one of the hardest bosses ever hell harder than Isshin. He's tanky, has 3 phases, has a machete similar to a placenta and hits harder with confusing attack patterns. To make it easier the character must wield a glaive weapon from Hodir. That's how you beat him easily. The saddest part about his lore is that he sacrificed himself being hollow for his conure similar to Sif, and avenges Gideon Sorry for my grammar btw I hope anyone responds

Well, I'm sorry Vaati, the Game Awards 2020 have come and gone, and yet, there has been no news. It won one award, "Most Anticipated Game," but nothing else. Guess I'll just go hollow. 'Bye!

Excellent leaks "PVP, high fantasy, creative builds" definitely not stuff any souls fan could safely guess is gonna be in a from soft game (no hate on vaati)

This making me think the “place a bonfire” mechanic that was taken out of DS3 right before launch will have to come back. I bet you they will obviously already have set in stone like checkpoints or bonfires in Elden ring but then you’ll get a semi-valuable resource where you can place your own in the world as well.

For Elden Ring’s navigation system, I think something like the Guiding Wind system from Ghost of Tsushima would be appropriate.

After watching the trailer again, I noticed almost every character wears a ring or a golden band. Along with the logo of the game I think we need to recover all the rings of power from each main boss to make a choice to reforge the elden ring or take the power for ourselves.

I really liked it in gothic 3 where you had no waypoints, and no help. You often stumbled into new encounters, and you had to really listen to what the people said, because it was your only hope of finding the destination. And if you had low health you never new when the next ton come. That game was incredible in so many ways and I still think the gothic games in general are one of the best RPG games out there.

At this point I am not sure if fromsoft is real developer or just a dream. Why did they announce the game so early and then went silent for such long ass time?

miazaki made the best medieval games after nioh tried to copy his idea for japanese lore style he shoved with sekiro he can do that better now he will show god of war and skyrim he can make better norse game and probably next he will show assassins creed and god of war 1 2 3 that he can make better ancient greek game
