I've always considered demon souls to be the closest to a Christian video game because you have Catholic Catholicism St urbain other stuff and no foul language to speak of so I can play this in a room full of kids without having to apologize to their parents for any language that was in the game

They already revealed the remake of Demon's Souls for PS5 and since I'm already familiar with Dark Souls I just might give it a shot assuming the gameplay is like Dark Souls but better hopefully.

Per your request, sir. First, there's something quite amazing that we've all felt about the first souls(like) game that you play. It's SO hard at first, and the process of mastering the game is so incredible and I think it leaves you sort of... marked forever, and bonded to that game in particular. But Demon's Souls has to be the best possible game for this. I'd say Bloodborne as a close second, because these two games in particular are HORRIFYING. I remember trying to show my friends Demon's Souls, and I was hiding on the ramparts in Boletaria trying to figure out how to get past the strafing dragon (for the first time). And after a minute or so my friends looked at me and said, "Stop being a pussy!" And I was flabbergasted. They weren't in the driver's seat - they didn't get it. Because I was PETRIFIED. It was so scary! The whole game is just so oppressive, and again, overcoming that challenge is essentially the high I look for in games now. There's an old video by Alex Roe on youtube, Epitaph for Boletaria. It's a remix of the Demon's Souls soundtrack and is incredible, brings tears to my eyes every time. Thanks Vaati!

I love the atmosphere, the amazing customisation and the dragon bone smasher. I don't like the grinding for weapon upgrades and the fact that it was ps3 only but thank the amazing people that make emulators and allowed me to fall in love with this game. Demon's souls is great yall. Go play the shit out of it if you haven't already.

I've actually defeated the Flamelurker in 2 tries. But Maneater destroyed me. It took more than 30 tries. I love Maiden in black. I think she is the best waifu in souls series.
