A lot of people asking "Can I submit more than one weapon design"? I think it's best to submit one type of weapon design per person. This helps to ensure it's your best design, and that the winner isn't someone who overwhelmed the challenge with ideas (even though that's awesomely talented of you). That said, feel free to submit your alternate ideas. This allows you to express those ideas, and I MAY feature them. Just be clear which one is your "main" idea to be judged for the competition.

hey Vaati. I submitted my draft but haven't got a response or anything. just wanted to be sure I was entered in the running for the mystery prize. and don't really know another way to check. I assume you've just got a large volume of entries. but wanted to send a message in case the E-mail was lost or something.

I have one question- I sended my early submission, but now, when I slowly approach final stages of work, I added more angles, some things to weapon concept and mechanism, so even thought the general theme of weapon didn't changed, it certainly shows some little design changes and updates. So the question is, If I send this updated version, it will disqualifay my entry, or I worry to much? I know it may by stupid question, but I'm stupid man with lot of stupid ideas :P

I would have made a prosthetic that shoots out a psychedelic smoke to make Enemies think and act like those giant birds in the game. A follow up would be to kick them like a football once they're clucking along the ground

I know this is late (I was about to enter the competition for Sekiro but unfortunately, UNI stuff starts early) but I was wondering if a prosthetic arm can switch to a matchlock or the tanagashima shotgun. Since it's a combination of both historic and fiction. Since Sekiro has taken place during the Sengoku Period (from 15th to 17th century), the matchlock weaponary (Mostly rifles, not sure about pistols though) had been introduced by the Portuguese around the 1500s, mostly by trading. Thus created the name 'Tanegashima' rifle, named after the island called Tanegashima. Most of you had seen enemies armed the Tanegashima while watching gameplay footages or playing the demos. The gun is also around the Edo Period, but Sekiro is around the Sengoku Period so I'm not sure whether it's in the late Sengoku or the mid. As the for the fictional part. The shotgun. They haven't existed or made til the 1800s, but since Sekiro has a fictional weapon called the flame cannon (whatever it's called) which obviously sets enemies on fire within a large radius, a shotgun can have potential as a crowd control weapon, though they're three things that I find to be a problem. 1. It'll be Bloodborne all over again as players will just use the shotgun almost constantly, even though it does some damage. 2. The gameplay style of Sekiro is a sword based combat which means it encourages us to go personal with our enemies and clash blades with as we time the parry and strike, or use stealth, not the 'taking the gun to the sword fight' thing. Even though there's flamethrower like cannon in it. 3. Even though it's support utility weapon, it's very unlikely developers of Sekiro would implement such weapon as the shinobi would rather not carry a firearm, as it would probably be cumbersome and pointless since the firearms would diminish their stealth tactics due to noise it makes upon using it It's just my theory so who knows. If the developers wanted to implement such idea, they would probably go for the rifle or pistol design with an option to change ammunition type. But that's their choice.

R2: the prosthetic arm activates, attacking the front of the character continuously for 3 seconds. The character can walk forward, but not backward nor turn or jump. You can't cancel it until 2 seconds have passed - to cancel, just tap the block or attack button. Being hit will cancel it at any time. R2+R1: the character does a spinning punch with the prosthetic arm, launching the enemy forward.

cant draw good but i'm just gonna quietly share my ideas here: a sleep dart attachment that makes an enemy unable to run (but other actions are unaffected) and it would look kind of like one of those pvc pipe air guns but with a bellows blower instead or something another idea for a kind of rage potion that sticks to an enemy's face and makes them attack in a blind rage and if they just happen to hit their allies while trying to get to you so be it.

@NR210 No because i think it would be pretty nice to have a sawcleaver arm or something like this but it wouldnt be original anymor and i want to make a prosthetic arm without using many references. But maybe i will use a symbol from bloodborne to make a connection :P

How about a grappling arm that you fire at a distance and leave it. Later if the enemy or boss uses an ranged or large aoe attack you can activate the arm to avoid damage.
