The ENGLISH subtitle really help......i CANT UNDERSTAND THOSE SUBTITLES WHAT THE HELL IS THAT

I accidentally killed onion knight at firelink shrine on my first playthrough, I regret it dearly and I feel bad of encountering his daughter. I guess in my next playthrough I'll be wary of where I swing my ultra great sword and still have a cry at the end of the game, a fitting tribute to onion knight on my part where I shouldn't swing the final blow.

I never really see people mention this but Sieglinde's a fucking beast, got past Sen's fortress to get into the Duke's Archives within Anor Londo looking for her father; then, went back through the hollows of Undead Burg and visited Firelink Shrine. From there she went down through New Londo Ruins and the Valley of Drakes into Blighttown. Surviving the place only to go deeper into the Great Hollow and finally Ash Lake where she had to best her father in combat. She basically beasted through half the game without dying even once, hats off to her.

One thing that’s really upsetting about Siegward is, throughout the world we can see not only who he was but also we can see his faith in himself dying. We find the warriors of sunlight covenant in the undead settlement next to some estus, we find the sunlight talisman in Farron swamp next to some estus, Siegward gives us the only other miracle we see him use, Project Force, in the Irithyll kitchen. It’s clear that as we save him from the elevator, the demon, the well, the cell, he’s losing faith in himself, just as Siegmeyer once did.

Actually Siegmeyer doesn't succumb to his wounds. Remember that Siegbrau has regenerative capabilities. He actually takes his own life. His duty now fulfilled. We know that unkindled and undead hollow when their purpose is fuffiled so instead of hollowing he chooses to taken his own life.

First time I played this game, I watched Solaire hollow to the maggot, then ran across the bridge and witnessed Siggy die in the pit. Turned that shit off and didnt play it for yeas after that.

Ok i cried 😭 also did the story of those brave companions today, straight in the feels this one especially when he jumped down and face those chaos eaters oh boi ! and thank you for this and al of youre content vaat !

Create a great character -> follow up with great character building -> Mercilessly take that character away from the player and his daughter -> epic storytelling. The way these character stories blend in with that dark and ominous world... The only drawback in the game itself is that its really spread out a lot and easy to be missed. Watching these videos in sequence afterwards makes more emotional impact. Vaati truly started some miraculous. I would like to see Berserk video game made by From Software, but also Dark Souls in the form of a Berserk anime. Like the original series. Not the new one... Definitely not the new one.

since hes undead, i think he has some trouble with his family for leaving them behind for adventuring. They got into fight. At the end hes hollow. But if hes hollow why hes still remembered his daughter?

Best characters in dark souls series

I think Siegward killed himself after the battle with his old friend instead of dying from his wounds of battle. I think this is more likely because of the healing properties of his signiature drink he toasts with after the battle.

One question: isn't siegmeyer undead, so his daughter didn't actually "kill" him and instead would need to stand there to kill over and over again as he revives 'til the end of her life or if she gets too old to keep fighting? So it's not actually "finally over"? I like to think that the last bonfire the npc used were really far away from there, maybe not even inside lodran, so that would explain why we never see npcs again in DS1 and DS3 after killing them despite most of them being undead/unkindle like us.
