Tenchu Dark Souls 1, 2, and 3 Bloodborne Nioh All are great games and I cannot wait to hear reviews of this game and hope that it will be just as good if not better.

Console exclusives have a good reason for existing. The inferior consola peasants need to feel they didn't make an objectively worse choice for buying a console instead of building or buying a PC. Having a game be exclusive to a console creates artificial competition against PC gaming.

The only good reasons for consoles even existing (other than personal choice after they've been made) is to potentially stop any scummy business practices coming to PC had all the gamers moved too it. We have to put up with missing a few decent games but I'd rather that, than all the shit that comes with consoles.

I am so ok with more Feudal Japanese settings in games, especially with grappling hooks. Tenchu really set the bar for that style of game, but all three of these games (Sekiro/Ghost of Tsushima/Nioh 2) are going to be on my must-buy list for 2018-19.

Please let the game allow for Western-style swords. I won't be hugely disappointed or surprised if it doesn't, and it still looks dope as hell, but every SoulsBorne game in Western settings have had their katanas and other Eastern-style weapons and elements thrown in here and there. A similar nod back to Western swordplay would be a nice touch, and I personally would really appreciate it. But, either way, Sekiro looks absolutely breathtaking, and, depending on how things go, it may even top Bloodborne for me in terms of raw badassery. That grappling hook looks amazing.

I thought Activision was apart of it because the game was somehow related to Tenchu which From Software originally developed but Activision later acquired the IP. But it seems to be a new IP and From Software choose Activision as the publisher. It does seem like a weird partnership. I don't think Activision has ill intentions though. They do have microtransactions for COD and other mobile games, but their release of Crash and Spyro HD seem to be absent of any DLC or Micro payments. Activision in the 90s and early 2000s used to be about publishing normal games, not just COD spam. I think this game will turn out great. I was glad it wasn't a Sony exclusive too. The biggest disappointment for me was Bloodborne being locked to Sony and forced to play it 30 fps. Nice video as always.

Also checkpoint markers could be those giant double doors maybe? It seems like there's a very short cutscene when you open one. 12:24 is where the door is shown.

Just hope that this comes to the Switch, I know it would be hard to port it but a game like this would be awesome to pull out for a quick boss fight and then put away for a while. Can't wait to see more from this game.
